At this New Moon Intentions event, we will discuss how to work with the current new Moon in the sign of the Zodiac that it is occurring (this time in Taurus), based on the astrology of the time, and what house (or area of life) the new Moon occurs in your personal natal chart. This can be a really meaningful way to start to envision ourselves as an integral part of an ensouled Cosmos, and an interesting way to communicate with our most authentic self, who I feel is always trying to be heard and acknowledged. It is not necessary to work with the Zodiacal houses when setting intentions at the new Moon, but I have found using the Zodiacal house placement in which the New Moon occurs so useful for setting intentions and manifesting ideas into form, as it not only helps to organize my thoughts, but if utilized throughout the year, touches on each area of life that the Zodiacal houses represent. Working with the Zodiacal houses in the lunar cycle can also help us to become more well-rounded individuals, as we’re guided to work on those areas of life that may seem to end up on the back burner more often than not. Also, it seems to allow for Divine co-creation, as it often mysteriously lines up with what is already wanting to come forth in that specific area of life in which the New Moon occurs.

If you already have a copy of your natal horoscope, feel free to bring that to the event so that we can determine in which Zodiacal house this new Moon is occurring for you. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to me at chitchatastrology@gmail.com prior to the event, and I will email your natal chart to you, or you can look up your own natal chart at www.astro.com. I will also be able to look up your chart at the event if you know your birth time, date, and location. If you don’t have an accurate birth time, we can still look up your chart, but we won’t know the placement of the Zodiacal houses without an accurate birth time. Also please bring a journal or notebook so that you can put your intentions down on the page, the first step toward bringing those intentions into form.

  • learn to recognize and work with your conditioned responses

  • discuss ways to work with the energies of your natal astrological Moon in a way that encourages the most compassionate, life-affirming expression of those energies
